NELATEK is a Monthly Meetup of Technology professionals, students, and enthusiasts in Northeast LA where we gather to discuss all things technology related.
NELATEK meets every 3rd Wednesday of the month at Tower Place ( 1500 N 19th St, Monroe, LA 71201 )) in Monroe, LA starting at 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm with some type of food provided by our generous sponsor(s). Our meeting format is that we start with a set speaker around a specific topic for the first half of the meeting and then we morph into a more relaxed, open discussion for the 2nd half of the meeting. It is free and open to the public. All we ask is that you RSVP to the meeting that you plan to attend so that we can plan for an accurate dinner count. Note: Many of our participants stay after the meeting to continue discussions, network, and/or catch up with friends, but we are normally finished by 7:45.
Our meetups are FREE and open to the public. You are welcomed to bring your laptop or tablet, and free wifi is available. We do ask that you RSVP to any Meetup that you plan to attend to ensure that enough food is ordered.
