- ➤ Monroe Mayor Friday Ellis is selling t-shirts for three days to raise funds for local non-profits as the community recovers from a severe winter storm. The shirts feature the phrase +It's Friday's fault+ and proceeds support groups such as United Way and Granny Goins Soup Kitchen. KNOE
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Monroe Mayor Friday Ellis is selling t-shirts today to support local non-profits + aid community recovery after a recent brutal winter storm that claimed nine lives statewide. KNOE
- ➤ Monroe water system pressure has begun to rebound after the recent winter storm. City officials said crews continue monitoring the system as it gradually returns to normal. KNOE
- ➤ Entergy Louisiana is hosting three information centers at West Monroe Community Center, Bastrop City Hall, and General Trass High School in Lake Providence to answer customer questions and provide hygiene kits, food, blankets, plus cots amid ice storm delays. Over 3,800 workers are working safely to meet new restoration dates. KNOE
