- ➤ The Food Bank of Northeast Louisiana will host a food distribution drive today from 2-4 p.m. at the West Monroe Sports and Events Center for Ouachita Parish residents impacted by the storm. KNOE
- ➤ United Way & KNOE hosted a telethon to raise funds for storm victims and nearly $180,000 was raised by Friday evening. Residents can still donate by calling 318 9989222 or texting FAMILYRELIEF to 91999. KNOE

- ➤ Jo Ann Deal from the Better Business Bureau of Monroe appeared on Good Morning ArkLaMiss Feb. 16 at 7:42 a.m. to explain how locals can improve their credit with self-help strategies. KNOE
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Crews are removing tree debris along I-20 westbound near the border between Ouachita Parish and Richland Parish — shoulder closures remain in effect as work continues and officials have not provided an end time. KNOE
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Jonathan Spence, injured last month during Winter Storm Fern when a tree limb fell on him (with support from his fiancée and mother), is recovering in Houston after spinal fusion surgery. KNOE
SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ Grambling State University announced the passing of its women’s basketball assistant coach Michael Pittman on Monday, Feb. 16. He had rejoined the team for the 2025 season and worked in various coaching roles across the country. KNOE
