The North Louisiana Quilt Guild will host the 2026 Quilt Show at West Monroe Convention Center on Friday, Feb.

27 and Saturday, Feb. 28, featuring over 200 quilts, live demonstrations, vendors, raffle tickets, door prizes, lunch, and free parking (tickets cost $7 for ages 9 to 79).

Monroe Symphony Orchestra Board of Directors’ President Jarrod Richey appeared on Good Morning ArkLaMiss to invite locals to experience the new Spring waltz show — performance dates and venue details will be shared soon.

American Airlines will add a mid-morning flight connecting Monroe Regional Airport and Dallas-Fort Worth International starting Tuesday, April 7 to improve travel for business and work.

Applicants must submit a notarized application in person and the reduced rate applies (up to 5,000 gallons) with regular charges for extra water.

Lincoln Parish Sheriff's Office announced the passing of retired Deputy Brigitte Watson Fitzgerald, who died Saturday in West Monroe at 69.

Visitation is set from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 28 at Owens Memorial Chapel, with the service beginning at 2 p.m. to honor her service.
