- ➤ The West Monroe–West Ouachita Chamber of Commerce announced nominees for the 2026 Small Business Awards, honoring local businesses, nonprofits, and community leaders. The awards luncheon will be held on Wednesday, April 1 at the West Monroe Convention Center to celebrate community impact. KEDM
CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ ULM School of VAPA presents Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella at Brown Auditorium, March 26–29. Shows run at 7:00 p.m. from March 26-28 and a 2:00 p.m. matinee on March 29, with tickets at $20 for admission and $15 for ULM faculty & staff; students enter free & get fresh retelling. KEDM
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ St. Francis Medical Center will add 21 new resident physicians to its graduate medical education program on July 1 to address a local doctor shortage. More than 50 residents and students are expected to join the campus — supporting long-term care access. KNOE
