- ➤ Ouachita RiverFest kicks off today in downtown West Monroe and runs until April 26 with duck viewing, live music, food trucks and activities for families. Commerce Street and nearby roads will have timed closures from April 24 to 27 — so visitors should plan for some traffic delays. KNOE
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ The University of Louisiana Monroe announced three semifinalists for its presidential search, including Jonathan Ambrose, Chris Broadwater and Carrie Castille, who will interview with faculty, staff, students and community members on April 29 and April 30. After these interviews, finalists will meet with the UL System Board of Supervisors on May 19 — officials noted — before a final choice is made. KNOE
