- ➤ Authorities responded to a kitchen fire at The Cheniere Shack in West Monroe on April 25 at 10:39 a.m.—all employees and customers evacuated safely with no injuries reported. KNOE
- ➤ Louisiana State Police said a crash on U.S. Hwy 80 near Boatright Road left 42-year-old motorcyclist Mark Chevalier dead—he was riding a Harley without a DOT-approved helmet when 38-year-old driver Krystle Mott turned onto a private drive—and the investigation is ongoing. KNOE
- ➤ On April 25, shortly after 9 p.m.—Louisiana State Police troopers investigated a two-vehicle crash on U.S. Hwy 80 near Boatwright Road that killed Monroe man Mark Chevalier and left 38-year-old Krystle Mott with minor injuries after her Nissan turned left into the path of a Harley-Davidson motorcycle.
