The Red, White, and Blue airshow will start on May 2 and continue through May 4 with aircraft displays—expected to draw local families—and let visitors see aerial maneuvers clearly.

Parker Moskal, general manager of the Monroe Moccasins, said hockey is back on the bayou as public skating will be offered several times a week at the Monroe Civic Center.

He also said plans for youth and junior hockey will expand in October to give local kids more chances to learn and play the game.

Coach Phil Cunningham said his plan to rebuild ULM Men's Basketball focused on recruiting skilled players and fostering trust among returning athletes—he noted that assistant coaches from Monroe, Kansas State, and former staff will help develop players and boost community support at Fant Ewing Coliseum.
