- ➤ Good Morning ArkLaMiss hosts the Green Qube Giveaway as it airs a new clue every morning to help locals find the hidden prize. This daily event engages viewers in a fun, interactive challenge. KNOE
- ➤ Monroe residents can join the Green Qube promotion by watching Good Morning ArkLaMiss at 6:45 a.m. for a chance to find a hidden green cube and then bringing it to the Monroe Chamber of Commerce at 1811 Auburn Avenue as part of a weekly contest. KNOE
CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ The art exhibition at the Student Support Services Building in West Monroe shows 270 works by Ouachita Parish students; it runs through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and is free to view + it spotlights young talent in our community. KNOE
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ ULM's pharmacy department reported a 100% job placement rate for its graduates, a success seen amid statewide health challenges (84% of Louisiana is a shortage area and 27% of northeast regions lack access to care). KNOE
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Louisiana Department of Health released water system grades Monday, May 4 for over 900 systems statewide showing many improvements and some declines (Monroe Water System improved to 100 from 95) amid state and federal investments to ensure safe water. Results highlight an ongoing effort to provide reliable water. KNOE
SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ West Monroe Sports & Events and the city will host the 2026 North Louisiana Sportsman's Expo in West Monroe from Aug. 28 to 30. The family-friendly expo will feature 100 vendors & varied activities that offer outdoor gear displays and fun for all ages. KNOE
