- ➤ Chennault Aviation & Military Museum has teamed with Northeast Delta Human Services Authority to launch a new program for veterans. The effort sponsors museum field trips to teach children military history and career opportunities while offering a therapeutic outlet for veterans and support for families and first responders. KNOE
- ➤ Monroe’s Downtown River Market will open on May 9, as City of Monroe Main Street Director Nirali Patel shared on Good Morning ArkLaMiss that the event will feature local vendors and community activities. KNOE

HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ UAMS now offers histotripsy, a noninvasive treatment for liver tumors that uses ultrasound waves to liquify tumors in an outpatient procedure. Three trained physicians administer the one-hour treatment, which has shown a 95.5% success rate & boosted patients' immune systems in clinical trials. KNOE
