- ➤ Mayor Layton Curtis said community events are on the horizon as the third annual North Louisiana Safety Conference will soon return to Monroe for training sessions for professionals. The Better Business Bureau warned residents to be cautious of door-to-door security system scams rising over the summer. KNOE
