- ➤ The Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office is asking local residents for help finding runaway juvenile Saniy Samoa Silas, 17, who was last seen May 9 leaving her home on Willet Place Boulevard and is described as African American with blonde hair & brown eyes while wearing a black LSW hoodie and blue-green joggers. - ➤ Monroe City Schools began an internal audit investigation into its Transportation Department after officials noted potential driver payment issues when transportation workers received partial pay on May 12; Superintendent Sam Moore III said a meeting with employees will be held today at 10:30 a.m. (to review extra compensation for overtime work) to ensure funds are correctly allocated.
