Two new events will take place in West Monroe during Labor Day weekend.
The West Monroe Gar Rodeo will begin on August 29 with fishing contests, live music at 7 p.m., and weigh-ins on August 30 at Alley Park—while the West Monroe Boat and Outdoor Expo will run from August 28 to 30 at the West Monroe Sports and Events facility featuring outdoor demonstrations and a casting contest.
Dancing Cat Farm in Monroe is offering many cats for adoption and seeking help from volunteers and fosters.
