Shelby Bordelon was crowned Miss Louisiana 2026 in Monroe after a competitive pageant narrowed the field from 11 contestants to 5 finalists (Anna Claire Lemoine was fourth runner-up, De’Ahmya Whaley placed third runner-up, and Lauryn Vernon came in second runner-up) on June 20.
🎓 Education
Lincoln United Community Coalition has launched a youth reading camp to help students who may be behind in reading and to connect families with support.
Tutoring sessions are offered Mondays from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
