- ➤ On Sunday, June 22, shortly after 9:00 p.m., troopers said that a 2015 GMC Sierra driven by Noah Short aged 27 crossed the centerline on LA Highway 151 just south of LA Highway 144 and struck a 2016 Nissan Sentra, killing West Monroe resident Rachel Rushing and injuring a passenger who was taken to a hospital with critical injuries.
