FUNROE is recruiting volunteers to help support the Louisiana Municipal Association Convention scheduled for Aug.

Monroe artist Don Cincone celebrated his 90th birthday Saturday at (NELA Delta African American Heritage Museum), where (over 70 paintings) were displayed to honor his long career and draw family, friends and supporters.

The Power-Up Mentorship and Dance Camp held its seventh annual performance at Monroe Civic Center after three days of practice, helping young girls build dance skills, time management, and self-confidence — the program costs $150 and runs during the second week of July.
