- ➤ 90.3 KEDM Public Radio in Monroe has kept its local programming strong despite cuts to federal funding and says it will continue to serve local listeners. - ➤ Miracles to Milestones is selling lemonade to raise funds for inclusive playgrounds and equal play for all children—local restaurants, including Flying Tiger Brewing and Pizza Bar, are joining the effort. - ➤ West Monroe Police responded to reports on July 23, 2025 of an attempted purse snatching on the 100 block of Trenton Street (5:03 p.m.) and a robbery on the 400 block of Thomas Road (5:25 p.m.) where a Hispanic male suspect driving a red or maroon Ford F-150 with a black bed cover fled both scenes.
