Hunters For The Hungry Louisiana is organizing Clean Out Your Freezer Day to collect leftover wild game, fish, and frozen proteins for families in need.
The drop-off runs Aug. 17–19 at the Food Bank of Northeast Louisiana on Central Avenue.
🎓 Education
The University of Louisiana Monroe (ULM) is launching a Food is Medicine program this school year as construction on a dedicated kitchen begins in two weeks; the pilot will teach healthy cooking and is planned to start in early 2027.
