CRIME NEWS
- ➤ Monroe police arrested a Minnesota suspect accused of murder at 1051 MLK Drive just after noon on Aug.26 — the arrest came after a tip reported he was hiding in a building and that he held active warrants from Minnesota. KNOE

- ➤ Senator Bill Cassidy spoke at the Coffee and Conversations event at the West Monroe Convention Center on August 25th and highlighted new infrastructure investments that improved the local airport, sewer systems, and broadband access across Northeast Louisiana—he also visited a Ruston center that offers testing, ultrasounds and parenting classes to support expectant mothers.
