- ➤ Fades of Gray opened its first barbershop in Monroe (Labor Day) with a ribbon cutting at noon on Sept. 1. Owner Julian Gray worked on the holiday and received support from the Black Chamber of Commerce and local community members. KNOE
- ➤ Julian Gray opened his first barbershop in Monroe on Labor Day — while many took a day off, he began serving local customers with fresh haircuts. The new shop, Fades of Gray Barbershop, is set to offer quality service in a welcoming space. KNOE
CRIME NEWS
- ➤ The Morehouse Parish Sheriff’s Office arrested Gregory Fall, 21, for second-degree murder and attempted second-degree murder and Joshua Akers, 20, for accessory after the fact after a shooting on Aug 30 that killed Lewin Gray, 46, and left Jaon Austin, 43, in the hospital. KNOE
