The Monroe City Academy League kicked off its 6th season at Carroll High School on Saturday, Sept.
5. Saturday Night Blitz games showcased local talent and set the stage for the fall season.
The Bulldogs scored 80 points in an 80-6 win over Northwestern State during Friday Night Blitz, setting a modern record and exciting local fans — marking their highest scoring game in recent history.
The Monroe City Academy League kicked off its sixth season yesterday at Carroll High School with 16 flag and tackle football games for children (ages 5 to 12).
The league also offers basketball, soccer, and cheerleading to promote teamwork and community ties.
