  • Families attended National Hunting and Fishing Day at Black Bayou Lake on Saturday, where they enjoyed archery, bird watching, and fishing while learning from wildlife officials about outdoor safety and conservation — a day that helped kids and beginners connect with Louisiana’s outdoor traditions.  KNOE

EDUCATION NEWS

  • The Ouachita Parish Mosquito Abatement District will conduct an aerial adulticide treatment tonight and tomorrow from 7:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.—the operation is planned due to favorable weather conditions and elevated West Nile Virus risks, and residents are urged to take precautions.  MyArkLaMiss
