The Chennault Aviation & Military Museum will host Chennault Fest 2025 from Friday, Nov.

7th to Saturday, Nov. 8th at 701 Kansas Lane in Monroe, featuring live music, hot air balloons & food trucks along with a petting zoo & kids zone starting at 3 p.m. each day. The free festival is a fundraiser for the museum and is expected to produce an estimated economic impact of $299,801.47 for Ouachita Parish.

Louisiana is facing a work shortage as officials report 114,000 job openings with only 90,000 unemployed and 58% of adults working.
