Local Boy Scout troops will drop off empty donation bags on November 1 for residents to fill with nonperishable food items for the Food Bank of Northeast Louisiana’s 38th Annual Scouting for Food drive; scouts will collect donations on November 8 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

The Chennault Aviation & Military Museum in Monroe will host Chennault Fest 2025 on November 7 and November 8 at 701 Kansas Lane.

The free event is a fundraiser for the museum and will feature hot air balloons, live music with Parish County Line on Friday and Laine Hardy on Saturday, food trucks, a petting zoo and a kid's zone.
