- ➤ Zeta Phi Beta members from across Louisiana are meeting at the ULM Hangar in Monroe for their state convention themed 'The Extraordinary Power of She'—focusing on social, health, and economic justice. - ➤ Wossman upset Minden — ending Carroll's season during a high school football playoff game last night, with the result impacting the tournament standings for local teams. KNOE
- ➤ Briarfield Academy won the Downs Law Firm Cheerleader Challenge 2025 & outperformed its competitors in a tight race on November 14th. KNOE
- ➤ High school football playoffs show mixed results as West Monroe advanced in the first round while Ouachita won a close game—Franklin Parish moved into the second round as West Ouachita lost on the road. KNOE
- ➤ Friday night high school football saw St. Fred pummel Cedar Creek, Richwood knock off Caldwell, and Oak Grove, Union and Ferriday advance in the playoffs — 28 area teams are now competing for a state championship. KNOE
