  • On November 28, the University of Monroe named S.J. Tuohy as its new Director of Athletics — his appointment is pending approval by the University of Louisiana System Board of Supervisors.  KNOE
  • Sterlington beat Loreauville 44-6, Jena defeated Mansfield 44-20, and Union edged Kinder 20-14 in overtime as all three local Non-Select Division I squads advanced to the state semifinals.  KNOE
  • Today, Mangham beat East Feliciana 49-16 in the quarterfinals — advancing to the semifinals, while Sterlington, Jena, and Union won their games and ended their opponents’ seasons. The victories set the stage for the next round of playoffs.  KNOE
