- ➤ Joseph Biedenharn, a pioneering local businessman, was born on Dec. 13, 1866 and inherited his family’s candy business at 22, later innovating the bottling of Coca-Cola. After moving to Monroe in 1913, he expanded his legacy by becoming one of Delta Airlines’ first investors. KNOE

- ➤ Ouachita made history today by clinching a 21—20 win over Ruston to capture its first state championship since 1989, thrilling fans at a packed game. KNOE
