If you live or work near the North Forsythe Bypass, Victory Boulevard or Egrets Landing, plan ahead. The City of Monroe says crews will start emergency repairs on an 8-inch water main at 10 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 5. The work should take several hours.

A precautionary will be issued for all affected customers. MyArkLaMiss reports it stays in effect until required water quality testing is completed and results are received. We suggest filling a few jugs before 10 p.m.
